Authentic National Guard of Russia OMON Patch- a generic name for the system of special units of police. There is an OMON unit in every region of Russia. Created in 1988, they played major roles in several  armed conflicts during the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Members are required to achieve a high level of fitness and expertise in small arms and hand-to-hand combat and fitness.
