The combat Chest Rig is a lightweight means of carrying elements of the combat layout and is designed to accommodate removable pouches from the UMTBS kit or any others with a mounting system compatible with UMTBS (MOLLE, PALS).
 
– The Chest Rig consists of a base and an additional chest valve equipped with slings of a modular fastening system, shoulder straps with shock-absorbing cushions and a jumper, and a waist tie.
– The chest flap is attached to the half rings located on the shoulder straps, and can be unfastened and retracted inside the base.
– Shoulder straps can be placed on the user in both an X-shaped and, with the help of the included jumper, an H-shaped position (the latter is most convenient when wearing a Chest Rig over a SIB).
– There are four rows of modular fastening slings on the base, divided into 16 cells (loops). Four more rows of six cells are available on the additional chest module.
– The shoulder straps also have modular fastening slings and half rings for fastening the layout elements.
– Inside the base and the additional valve there are pockets for placing documents, maps, signal panels, etc. flat objects.
